The client had over a dozen internal applications, each with its own database access layer and duplicated business logic. Changes to core business rules required updates across multiple codebases, creating consistency risks and slowing delivery.
Solution
We designed a centralized API platform using Spring Boot, organizing services around business domains. Each service owns its data and exposes a well-documented REST API following OpenAPI specifications. A shared authentication gateway handles cross-cutting concerns.
